Not enough orcs they said
So it seems that my previous post advertising my need for more guild leaders for my research was less effective than I might have hoped. After consulting with the oracles of high fantasy gaming and research, I have established that the problem was a lack of orcs in the original post. I will rectify that now.
Yes, I know those aren't Warcraft orcs, but I feel they get the job done.
At any rate, back to the business at hand. I still need more WoW guild leaders to interview for my dissertation research. In particular, they need to run raiding guilds and they need to consider themselves successful. How they qualify success is their call. Been together since open beta? Run a guild of 300? Run three different guilds and you just keep getting better at it? A guild leader qualifying success in any of these ways (or any of a dozen others) would be a great interview subject for me. Incidentally, they also need to be over the age of 18 in order to keep within my human subjects limitations.
At this time, I'm particularly interested in speaking with folks who feel that they are running more or less "normal" raiding guilds as I already have a few extraordinary guilds in my sample. It would also be nice to get some more Alliance guilds in my sample (I know, the orcs aren't really helping with that part. Talk to the oracles). Just respond to this post or shoot me an email* if you or someone you know is leading a guild and would be game for an interview.

Dr. Wolfenstein,
Although I am not a WoW player, I support your efforts to incorporate digital media and gaming in an educational context. I am interested in reading material you have written on the subject.
All the best,
