Various cool stuff: An interwebs video roundup post
While others are scouring the internet for various April Fool's content, I'm using today as an excuse to post a roundup of some of the cool things I've come across recently through my feed reader. In this post: Adorable animals, Cool audio, Robots, and more!
First up, via Singularity Hub this truly bizzarre speech jamming gun:
As crazy as this thing seems, if you read the full post you'll see that there's evidence that it's an actual thing.
Sticking with the theme of awesome technology, Boing Boing brought the Sand Flea jumping robot to my attention last Wednesday.
That's a whole lot of awesome in a small package. The fact that it survives that drop and just keeps going is kind of mind blowing.
Boing Boing always brings many delightful things to my feed. The percussive noise made by large quantities of snow falling off of a building and destroying some parked cars in Russia is another such thing.
This is a sound that clearly must be sampled.
Finally, I promised cute animals and Boing Boing pulls through on that one too (as it so often does). In this case we have a fox, a cat, and an eagle hanging out on a porch together in Unalaska Alaska.
...and that does it for today. More "content bearing" posts will be forthcoming soon.
